Thomas C. Autherson, 93, of McConnelsvile, formerly of Beverly, passed away at 6:35 a.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at the Riverside Country Care Center in McConnelsville.

He was born May 14, 1918 in Meigs County, a son of the late Carl Autherson and Naioma Keyes Autherson.

He was a retired plumber and pipe fitter and belonged to the local 168 Plumbers and Pipe Fitters out of Marietta.

He is survived by his widow, Marie Dailey Autherson of McConnelsville, whom he married October 7, 1936; three daughters, Helen Ebersbach of Middleport, Ruth Roe of McConnelsville, and Edith (Lloyd) Ackley of Worthington; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great- grandchildren; and one brother, Henry Autherson of Newark.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Lucille Allen, Lilly Roush, Violet Brewer, and Elba Dailey; one brother, Jim Autherson; and one great-grandchild.

Friends may call 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, May 4, at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Waterford Cemetery.
