Blanche Lucille Weaver of McConnelsville, 88 years of age, passed away at 4 :08 p.m.  Saturday, December 16, 2017, at Riverside Landing.Lucille  was the daughter of John and Bertha Linscott Weaver. She was born April 18, 1929 and grew up in Marion Township until her family moved to Malta. She graduated from M&M High School in 1947. She was employed at Finley Packing Plant in McConnelsville for over seventeen years and later retired from Malta Windows in 1998. Lucille was an active member of the Main Street Church of Christ for over  seventy years and served as Sunday School Secretary for more than forty years. A great lover of music, she enjoyed playing her organ, guitar, accordion and was a great supporter of the groups that presented music ministry in her church and others. Her sense of humor was greatly enjoyed by all who knew her and she passed that on to others in her family. She enjoyed painting, sewing, and creating small crafts, and word-find puzzles. Her love for her Lord and Savior was displayed in her daily life as she encouraged others around her to enjoy life with her, and she will be missed by many. She was preceded in death by her parents; her fiance', Bernard Davis; brothers , Clyde, Charles, Orville, James, Gerald, Donald, and Delmar Weaver; her sisters, Nellie Palmer and Dorothy Keffer. She is survived by sister -in-law, Carma Weaver, brother-in-law Cleo Keffer, many nieces, nephews, and their families, members of her church family, and many friends, including her "partner in crime" Fay McFerrin. Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville, where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday with Tony Cato officiating. Burial will follow in Stockport Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Main Street Church of Christ Sunday School Fund.
