My deepest sympathy on your loss of Blythe. I was in one of her classes at MHS her first year of teaching.....Writing Techniques. She later told me she wasn't sure of what she was doing and that I probably didn't learn much. WRONG!!!! I learned more from her that year than I ever learned from anyone through high school, undergrad school and grad school about writing. SHE WAS A VERY SPECIAL LADY. I have always been told....HE only takes the good ones and good one was she.

I met Blythe at a Librarian's Council meeting for SOLO directors and appreciated her dedication to the library and reading. I am the retired director of the Belmont County District Library. She hosted the meeting at her library a couple times and prepared delicious home cooked lunches for us. I offer my sincere condolences for your loss but know that she lives on in the hearts of so many.

The planning committee for our 50th Denison Reunion, of which Blythe was a part, sends its deepest condolences to Bo and his entire family. Blythe was a special classmate who went on to lead a rich, full life. She touched many lives in countless positive ways, whether friends, family or a myriad of students. She was always kind, giving and caring. The world simply needs more Blythe Schuberts. Blessing to her family.

We were so fortunate to have Blythe and Bo as our boat docking neighbors for all these years. She would bring out that magical electric skillet and concoct delicious mystery dishes with the wave of her wand. The cocktail potions served generously on the back of their boat were appreciated by all, as were the colorful storytelling and jokes. She was so much fun to be with, yet you knew you could also talk seriously with her and she would attentively listen and offer her wisdom if you sought it. We are far richer people having been blessed by Blythe, Bo, and their wonderful family.

Just to let you know, you are in our prayers and what our daughter Amy wrote about her, "I can always remember her laughter. She was a great teacher and person. She will really be missed." I believe this reflects all our families feelings about her while they were students.
God Bless You All!

We are so grateful for the short amount of time that we were blessed to know Blythe. She brought us cookies the day we brought our new boat into our dock; just and example of how she was always so prepared. We will make sure Bo stays on the straight and narrow without his co-captain.

My deepest condolences to the family on the loss of your loved one. I didn't know Blythe, but was sorry to hear of her passing. From that beautiful tribute, she must have been a wonderful person and I look forward to meeting her in the resurrection. For God has promised "that there is going to be a resurrection" (Acts 24:15) and "all those in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out" (John 5:28-29). So for now, just think of her as sleeping peacefully waiting for Jesus to wake her up. And I pray that the above scriptures give you some comfort at this difficult time.
