Calvin E. "Ed" Hall, 91, of McConnelsville  passed away at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday January 18, 2017 at the Highland Oaks Health Center in McConnelsville. He was born February 2, 1925 in Washington County to the late John Hall and Retta Peters Hall. Ed was retired from Malta Manufacturing  and was a mechanic. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and also served in the National Guard.  He was a member of the American Legion Past #24 of McConnelsville and the McConnelsville Eagles Club. Ed was also a proud member of the N.R.A. He is survived by two daughters, Nancy Lee (Larry) George of Danville and Barbara J. (Kim) Gosling of McConnelsville; a son, Ronald Hall of McConnelsville; 12 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren; a brother, David Hall of Reno, Ohio. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Gavin Hall; a son, David Wayne Hall; a grandson, Troy Hall; a brother, Perry Hall; and 5 sisters, Leora, Freda, Ruth, Betty, and Irene. Calling hours will Saturday, January 21, 2107 from 12-2:00 p.m.at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m..  Ed will be laid to rest in the McConnelsville Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Post #24 Color Guard. Memorial contributions may be made to the M. & M. Fire Dept. 77 S. 4th St. McConnelsville, Ohio 43756.
