Carl L. Price 86 of Zanesville passed away at 1:55 P.M. September 23, 2016 at his home. He was born December 26, 1929 in Washington County  the son of the late Fred Price and Mildred "Peg" Lane Price. He attended grade school in Mountville, graduated in 1947 from M&M High School, graduate of Ohio Northern University School of Pharmacy in 1956, served four years in Air Force in the Korean War, owner and operator of Price Pharmacy in McConnelsville 1958 to 1980, co owner and operator of Chesterhill Stone Co. , Beverly Slag Co. and Price Inland Terminal  Co. until 2002, past chairman and member of the Board of Directors of First National Bank in McConnelsville, past member and president of Morgan Local School Board, member of the original Morgan County Airport Authority, one of the founders of the Morgan Co. Flying Club at Stockport  in 1947, past member of the M&M Kiwanis Club, American Legion Post 24 of McConnelsville,member of the Zanesville Country Club since 1981, member of Trinity United Methodist Church in McConnelsville, member and past master of Corinthian Lodge F&AM of McConnelsville, Scottish Rite valley of Cambridge and Aladdin Temple Shrine in Columbus, Ohio. He is survived by two sons, Jeff (Wendy) Price of Galena, and John (Jodi) Price of  Zanesville; four grandchildren, Cameron and Morgan Lane Price and Anne and Jack Price; sister, Joyce Malisher of McConnelsville; brother, Fred "Rich" ( Teresa) Price of Jupiter, Florida. In addition to his parents  he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Anne Sharp Price who died August 1993. Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 :30  p.m.  Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville, where services will be held  at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday with Pastor Walter Jones officiating. Burial will follow in McConnelsville Cemetery.
