Saddened to hear about Janets passing. I always enjoyed getting my haircut and talking to Janet at the barber shop. She made you feel like a longtime friend from your first visit. I did not know her well but could tell that she was a very special person from the first time I met her. Prayers for her family and many friends for their loss.

Janet's passing was sad and timely! Janet was always so sweet and kind. She was especially nice to my mother, Sarah White(94). We all looked forward to the famous Christmas Party! She was known for making sweets and other interesting dishes. She also made goodies for Class of 1966 Reunion meetings. Thoughts and prayers for Charlie, Russ, Leslie, John, Martha, and other family members. May she rest in peace!🙏🏽❤️😇

Message from Wade and Janet Estep Herron and the Class of 1967.

Wade and Janet Estep Herron
Janet has been a part of our lives for many years. Wade, of course, grew up with Janet and Tyna in Chandlersville and I met them when I attended Philo High School. Since I was dating one of their boys, I was accepted into their realm and for many years since we have visited with each other whenever we had the chance. Wade and I have shared many a lunch with Janet and her Dad at the Chandlersville restaurant on the days that she came to visit. She will be missed but never forgotten. I would also like you to know that the support she lent to making the Class Reunions possible has always been appreciated. Like I said, she will truly be missed.

I grew up in McConnelsville and was wondering if you were any relation to Paul Herron who managed The Morgan County Herald? We moved to Newark in 1964 ! / Thanks

It was so sad to hear about Janet's passing. I remember going to Ohio every year as a child to visit my family, Grandma, Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. It was so much fun visiting Uncle Russell, Aunt Flo, Janet and Tyna at their farm. I loved to see all the animals when we visited. Our prayers are with the family.
