MARY R WHITE FOX
Mary left this world Sunday, October 16, 2016 surrounded by her family, to go to her final resting place. Born February 9, 1931. The daughter of Dale and Fanny Brooks White, in Bloom Township.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayne who passed December 29, 2014; brother Bill White; three sons-in-law, William Swiney, Ronnie Smith and Jerle Holland
Surviving are four daughters, Shirley Holland, McConnelsville, Sherry (Danny) Harris, Duncan Falls, Susan (Alan) Hall, McConnelsville, and Shelly (John) Marshall, Malta. Seven Grandchildren, Jeff (Dorothy) Holland, Justin (Lucinda) Holland, Hank (Tarrie) Swiney, Heather (Mike) Steinzor, Logan (Toni McCowan) Drake, Lyndsey and Lake Drake.
Seven Step Grandchildren, Kim, Amy, Stacie, Michelle, Clayton, Justin, and Hailey. Nine Great Grandchildren, Jordan, Alyssa, Alivia, Brice, Cheyanne, Jillian, Wayken, Levi, and Benton, and four Step Great Grandchildren, oneGreat Great Grandchild Greyson. Two sister-in-laws, Carolyn Fox and Rose White, There are lots of nieces and nephews that spent a lot of time at her home.
Her Great Grandson Wayken shared a birthday with her.
Mary worked at the Finley packing plant, when it closed she became a stay and home Mom. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, quilting working in her yard, going to auctions with Wayne, going to her grandchildren’s sporting events and probably most of all sitting on her front porch when the weather allowed it.
Sunday evenings you would find her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and whoever else might drop in gathering at her house for supper. She always had plenty; she was a great cook and pie baker.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, October 18th from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville, where services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday.
