To Pearl's Family,
I was unable to get to Pearl's calling hours, but wanted you to know you are in my thoughts and prayers during this sad time of parting. I remember your mother most of all for her poise and an ability "fix" any situation.
I enjoyed her "stained glass" hard candy she made every Christmastime. She shared this treat generously every year with her "Herald Family" and we looked forward to that. The year I lost both my parents, she appeared at my door on Christmas Eve with a jar of the colorful candies. I was touched by this gesture, knowing she truly cared.
I know your mother is happy now as she is with the Lord, and the love of her life on this earth. She will be missed by all who knew her including her "Herald Family". May God comfort you as only He can.
