Sherry L. Shriver, 71, of Zanesville formerly of McConnelsville passed away Wednesday March 22, 2017 at the Genesis Hospital in Zanesville. She was born October 29, 1945 in Morgan County to the late Leonard McDaniel and Loretta McPeak McDaniel. Sherry had worked at Phillips Industries in Malta and was retired from Longaberger. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Rodney L. Shriver; two daughters, Tammy Horner of Zanesville and Tracie Lamarca of Cincinnati;  a son, Tobie (Angie) Shriver of Akron; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren; two sisters,  Rosealee Murphy of Roseville and Phyllis (Ralph) Lockwood of McConnelsville; a brother, Bill (Martha) McDaniel of McConnelsville. Also surviving is a half sister, Mickey Allen of Zanesville and a half brother, Danny (Susie) Coler of Malta. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Shriver and a sister, Linda Finley.  At her request, no services will be held and a caring cremation will take place. Memorial contributions may be made to the Newton Township Fire Dept. & E.M.S.  Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville is in charge of the arrangements.
