Mary McGrath Obituary

Mary Ann McGrath 74, of Malta, passed away at 9:29 p.m. Monday, January 8, 2024 at Genesis Hospital In Zanesville.  She was born March 5, 1949 in Malta the daughter of the late, Robert L. Wilson Sr. And Esther Fisher Wilson. Mary Ann was a member of the Meigs Church of Christ  where she taught Sunday School and was Secretary Treasurer. Member of the Morgan County Republican Women, former Girl Scout Leader and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandma. She is survived by her husband, Terry McGrath whom she married April 20, 1968; children, Douglas (Karen) McGrath, Jennifer (Glenn) Lawrence, Janet (Jim) Woodward, Jeanna (Matt) Hopkins; grandchildren, Devon McGrath, Dakoata Allen, McKayla Allen, Kaitlyn Woodward, Kenlyn Woodward, Kayleigh Hopkins, Kara Hopkins, Kierstyn Hopkins, Keighley Hopkins; three great grand children; several nieces and nephews; one sister, Cinda (Tom) White;  two brothers, Robert (Linda) Wilson Jr., James (Bonnie) Wilson; sister in law, Martha (Robert) Feathers. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kylyn Woodward; and a sister, Janet Wilson. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 12, 2024 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Meigs Church of Christ with Curt Cable and David Couch officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Meigs Church  of Christ Building Fund or the Kylyn Woodward Memorial Schloarship Fund. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.miller-huck.com.
