On Friday, March 15, 2019, Alyssa Jo Elkins, of McConnelsville, loving daughter, sister, and friend passed away at the age of 18.
Alyssa was born June 25, 2000.
Alyssa was an Amazing Holy-Spirit filled young woman, who brought faith to the world through her battle with leukemia and her warrior like strength and trust in God. She was always very crafty, she had a love for music and a voice like an angel. She was one of the sweetest, most loyal person you could ever know and always willing to help anyone in need.
Alyssa was preceded in death by her grandmother, Linda Elkins, and survived by her parents, Jamie and Tiffany Elkins, Kelli Stepp; sisters, Haven, Blixon, Gala, Hadassah, Syhven, Orchid, and Cozette Elkins; brothers, Jakob Elkins, William Kent and Trenton Hayhurst; grandparents, Charley Elkins, Michael and Debra Friddle and Michael and Mary Richmer; and several aunts and uncles; and cousins who all loved her very much.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at The Anchor Church located at 1365 Chamberlain St., Zanesville.
