Dorothy Cordray, 93, of Columbus, formerly of McConnelsville passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018 at the Forest Hills Nursing Home in Columbus. She was born September 16, 1925 in Morgan County to the late Gerald Morrow and Ruby White Morrow. Dorothy was retired from Malta Manufacturing and was a member of the Malta United Methodist Church. She also attended the Grace United Methodist Church in McConnelsville and enjoyed making quilts. Dorothy is survived by a daughter, Karen (Dwight) Robinson of Columbus; a son, Gary (Connie) Cordray of Anaheim, CA; five grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Sarah White of McConnelsville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Cordray and three brothers; Charles Morrow, Max Morrow, and Lee Morrow. Calling hours will be Tuesday, November 6, 2018 from 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville. A funeral service will held at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Lee Ann Dunlap officiating. Dorothy will be laid to rest beside her husband, Carl in the McConnelsville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
