James Matthew Norman, 44, of McConnelsville, passed away at 4:20 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5, 2018, from a car/truck accident near McConnelsville.
He was born Sept. 21, 1974, in Marietta, a son of Silva Norman and Mary Mayle Norman of Malta.
He was an equipment operator for Dollar General in Zanesville. He was a very dedicated husband and father.
Surviving is his mother, Mary Norman of Malta; wife, Samantha Dille Norman; children, Alyzha Norman of Parkersburg, Cecelia Norman of Marietta, Sylvia Norman and Samson Norman, both of the home; sisters, Bonnie and Sara; brothers, Tom, Timmy, Paul, and Doug Norman.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, at the Malta Bible Church, in Malta, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, with Pastor Mike Wells officiating.
He will be laid to rest, in Mt. Herman Cemetery, near Amesville.
Miller-Huck Funeral Home, in McConnelsville, is in entrusted with arrangements.
