Lila Stegner Martin Obituary

Lila A. Stegner Martin 96, of McConnelsville, passed away at 11:20 p.m. June 20, 2018 at Highland Oaks Care Center in McConnelsvile. She was born October 14, 1921 in Morgan County the daughter of the late, Emmet Scott and Faith Best Scott. She was a member of the Malta United Methodist Church, former member of the Coshocton Farm Bureau and the Keene Grange. She is survived by a daughter, Rita (Tom) Knox of Malta; son, Rodney (Linda) Stegner of McConnelsville; five grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren; also survived by her are her second husband’s children, Ronald (Becky) Martin and Mary LeTard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Stegner and her second, husband C. Carlton Martin; brothers, Raymond, Norman, Glenn, Dwight, Dale and Dana Scott; and a sister, Nina Scott. Friends may call 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June  23, 2018 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Elizabeth Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Malta Cemetery beside her first husband. Memorial contributions may be made to the Malta United Methodist Church Youth Building Fund.
