Timothy James Maxwell, 54, of Malta passed away at 1:05 a.m. Saturday March 17, 2018 at the Genesis Hospice Morrison House in Zanesville. He was born November 21, 1963 in Beverly, Ohio to the late, Dean Oliver Maxwell and Anna Margaret Biedenbach Maxwell. Tim was a 1982 graduate of Morgan High School and had worked at the former Taylor Woodcraft. He also worked as a machinist at Milacron in Cincinnati and at Maxwell's Hunting & Fishing in McConnelsville. Tim was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He is survived by his wife of 9 years Teri Moore Maxwell; three sons, Beau (Melissa) Maxwell, Nathan (Emily) Maxwell, and Christopher Moore; two sisters, Rebecca Dilley and Susie Gibbs; four brothers, Mark Maxwell, Frederick Maxwell, Tony Maxwell, and Claude Maxwell; four grandchildren; and an aunt, Twyla Townsend. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Delilah Johnson and a brother, Bob Maxwell. Calling hours will Monday, March 19, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Tuesday March 20,2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Harmon Thomas officiating. Tim will be laid to rest in Deerfield Cemetery.
