Albert (Al) Steven Suhoski, 76, of Malta passed away July 21,2025 at his home. Al was born March 31, 1949 to the late, Anthony and Helen Laychak Suhoski. Al graduated from Strongsville High School in 1967. He served in the United States Navy from 1968 to 1973. After completing his service he and his parents purchased a small farm in Morgan County, where he met Janet Haines. They were married September 30, 1978. Al graduated with an Associate Degree from Zane State. Al was a retired electrician from I.B.E.W. local 972, Reno, Ohio. His pride and joy were his two daughters, Heather and Heidi and his five grandchildren, Camille and Adalee Gillespie, Lauren, Lucas, and Layton Coleman. Al loved to spend time with them and spoil each one. He is survived by his wife, Janet Haines Suhoski; daughters, Heather (Jeremiah) Gillespie, Heidi (Anthony Coleman) Suhoski; his five grandchildren; sister, Yvonne (Bonnie) Miller of Elyria, Ohio; sisters-in-law, Helen McKee and Bonnie Fouss; brothers-in-law, Richard (Nadene) Haines and Jim (Darlene) Haines, all local. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Dawn Suhoski Brooks; and a brother, John Suhoski. Calling hours will be Friday, July 25, 2025 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Miller-Huck Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. with Pastor Dan Hickerson officiating. Al will be laid to rest with military honors in the Bailey Ridge Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Twin City Opera House or the Morgan County Humane Society.
