Our much beloved mother, Alberta (Rios) Davis of Stockport, Ohio peacefully passed away at 6:05 am Monday, January 17, 2022 in her home of 67 years. 

She was born on September 9, 1936 in Ramona, California to the late, Harry and Dolores Rios. She was a devoted homemaker and of Catholic faith. Bert was an elder of the San Pasqual Band of Mission Indians. She loved spending time with her family and many friends. One of her greatest joys was mowing her yard on her tractor, sitting on the porch listening to country music with her great grandchildren, and watching Will’s cows in the pasture. 

Bert is survived by her daughter, Pat (Davis) Boothe (Jim Patterson, (fiancé) of Longview, Washington. There are four grandchildren: Andrea Stroud, April (Scott) Ferrell, Will (Rachael) Davis, and Johnny Boothe. Eight great-grandchildren: D.J. and Reilly Stroud, Cohen and Aidan Hopkins, and Jefferson, Quintin, Maya and Killian Davis. Two sisters: Patricia (Richard) Hamlin of Escondido, CA, Charlotte (Ralph) Willis of Hayden, Idaho, several nieces and nephews, and devoted caregiver,\ Crystal Clemens.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley L. Davis; infant son, James Michael Davis; daughter, Kate Karaus; two sons-in-laws: Jeffrey Davis and John Boothe; parents, Harry and Delores Rios; two brothers, Harry and Gene Rios; and two sisters, Eva and Frances.

Memorial services will be held at Mt. Olivet church at 1:00 pm on Monday, January 24, 2022.
