Anthony “Mike” Custer

Anthony "Mike" Custer, 87, of McConnelsville  passed away October 26, 2023 at his home. He was born August 19, 1936 in Dillonvale, Ohio  a son of the late John Custer and Mayme Hennis Custer.  Mike was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force where he served for 10 years. He was retired from the former Clevite Corporation of McConnelsville and was a member of  the American Legion Post #24 of McConnelsville. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary Lou Dlouhy Custer; a son, Scott Custer of McConnelsville; and a grandson, Allen Taylor. In addition  to his parents,  he was preceded in death by a son, James Michael Custer; two sisters, Mary Hall, Doris Rossini; and three brothers, Chester, John, and Bill Custer.
