Barbra I. (Cummings) Matson

Barbra I. Matson Weeks 98, of Stockport, passed away at 3:00 a.m. June 29, 2025 at Harmer Place in Marietta.  She was born January 29, 1927 in Jan Lew, West Virginia the daughter of the late, William Cummings and Idelia Grimes Cummings. She is survived by her children, Barbara Diana (Steve) Duskey, David Lee (Bonnie) Matson, Thomas Eugene (Joan) Matson, Phillip Anthony (Jolene) Matson, and Timothy Ralph (Debbie) Matson; 13 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several great great  grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Forrest W. Matson who died in 2008; and her second husband Waldo Weeks; several brothers and sisters; and one great grandson. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville where services will be held at  11:00a.m. Thursday with Vernon Eldridge officiating. She will be laid to rest in Malta Cemetery by her husband.
