Becky Jean Martin, Pennsville, peacefully passed from this life to Eternity on October 3, 2022 with her two sons by her side.
Becky was born on June 24, 1953 to the late Donald Lawrence and Blanche (Conn) Lawrence in Zanesville, OH. She was a 1972 graduate of Morgan High School and attended MATC in Zanesville. Becky retired from Muskingum Valley Grocery in Malta, OH following nearly 30 years of employment. She was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star Valley #19 as well as the Eagles Ladies Auxiliary #2187 in McConnelsville, OH. Becky was also a member of the Pennsville United Methodist Church.
Becky is survived by her husband of 32 years, David L. Martin and her two sons: Michael L. (Gloria) Lawrence of Manhattan, KS, and Jesse W. (Rebecca) Martin of Stockport, OH; stepdaughters: Nicole (Jonathan) Bulow and Marian Rose (Diego) Martin-Mastrogiuseppe. In addition, Becky is survived by siblings: Tommy (Pam) Lawrence, Donnie (Linda) Lawrence, Mickie Farley, Connie (Cliff) Littlefield, and Gary Lawrence; grandchildren: Victoria and Sarah Lawrence, Anna Mae and Brock Bulow, Chiara Mastrogiuseppe, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Becky was preceded in death by one sister: Barbara Davis-McKee.
Becky was known for her constant smile and kind words, even while battling the multiple illnesses and physical impairments she suffered during her final years.
Miller-Huck Funeral Home is in charge of Becky’s services. Friends may call from 4:00-7:00 PM on Thursday October 6 at the funeral home, or from 10:00 - 11:30 AM on Friday October 7 at the Pennsville United Methodist Church with the funeral immediately following. Becky will be laid to rest in the Pennsville Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the many dedicated and caring staff members of Marietta Memorial Hospital who provided compassionate care during Becky’s final days.
