Bettie Coyle Obituary


Bettie Louise Coyle, 89 of McConnelsville passed away August 2, 2022. Bettie was born January 4, 1933 in Morgan County to the late Bernard and Bessie Teters Hall. She was a homemaker who enjoyed quilting, gardening and was an amazing baker and cook. Her grandchildren loved her noodles and pies. Bettie was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church. She spent her life in Meigsville Township and the last few years as a resident of Riverside Landing Assisted Living where she had many close friends. Bettie was married to Franz Coyle for fifty-four years and they had seven children, eighteen grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren and one on the way. She is survived  by her children, Darla Coyle (Bobby Bass) of Westerville, OH, Ron (Judy) Coyle of Pataskala, Oh, Krista Wheatley (Gary) of Lower Burrell, PA, Elaine Lindimore (Tracey) of McConnelsville, OH, Kent (Dawn Lynn) Coyle of McConnelsville, OH, and Tom (Stefanie) Coyle of Junction City, OH, and special friend, Allene Barnes of McConnelsville, Oh. Bettie was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Franz  as well as one beloved son, Brent Coyle. She had also lost two sisters, Freda Kuntz and Edith Hall as well as four brothers Alva, Harry, Francis and Albert Hall. At her request, Bettie will be cremated and there will be no calling hours observed. Her children plan to hold a private graveside memorial service at a later date. She will be laid to rest at Ebenezer Church Cemetery in Neelysville with her husband and son. Memorial contributions may be made to the Morgan County Senior Citizens, 10 W.
