Carla “CJ” Patrick passed peacefully in her sleep at home on Sunday, June 25th, 2023. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Richard (Doug) Patrick, three daughters, Dawn (John Cole Howard), Jenny, and Rebecca (Christopher Warner); one granddaughter, Sara; and a younger brother, Dwight a.k.a. George. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Johnson and Sara Jane Murphy.
Coming from Scots-Irish/Pennsylvania Dutch ancestry, she could out-stubborn anyone except her daughters. She taught them too well. She made her family proud and was proud of her family.
She was born October 12th, 1947 in Indianapolis. She moved to Ft. Wayne when she was eight and graduated from Southside High School. She met Doug at a theater production where she was stage manager and he ran the sound. The rest, as they say, is history. She will be dearly missed. Love ya lots, Mom.
Calling hours will be at Miller Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville from 12 noon to 2 pm on July 5th. Internment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Ft. Wayne, Ind.
