Carolyn S. Greuey 81, of McConnelsville passed away Sunday, January 18, 2026 at her home. She was born March 3, 1944 in Zanesville the daughter of the late Albert Sherman and Mary Evelyn Richey Sherman. She retired as a clerk at Miba Bearings, member of First Presbyterian Church in McConnelsville, loved to attend her grandchildren’s events, also worked for Bill Janes Chevrolet in McConnelsville, and assisted Bill Janes and Don Reynolds in auction sales. Carolyn is survived by her children, Teresa Brannon, Jenny (Art) Barnhouse, and Amy (Jason) Drobina; grandchildren, Misty (Robbie) Theiss, Kayla Lindimore (Chris McConnell), Jessica Lindimore, Kady (Josh) Mackey, Blake (Jaylynn) Ponchak, Dirk Ponchak (Stacey Ternes) and Peyton Drobina; great grandchildren, Brayden & Nathan Theiss and Evelyn & Tel Ponchak; sister, Nancy (David) Lindimore; and a brother, Steve (Becky) Sherman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Rodney Sherman; and a grandson, Robert Ranney Hollobaugh. Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville where services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday with Galen Finley officiating. She will be laid to rest in Bristol Cemetery beside her brother and parents. Memorial contributions may be made to Shrivers Hospice or to Morgan Athletic Department 65 W.
