Connie Graham Obituary

Connie Dawn (Wolfe) Graham, 90 of McConnelsville, Ohio passed away on April 11, 2026 at her home.  She was born in Roseville, Ohio on December 7, 1935, to Carl and Gertrude (Foraker) Wolfe.  Connie married Dwight R. (Bob) Graham Jr. in 1953 and began life as a military spouse.  She loved the lifelong friends she made through the service and the various places they lived. She said that she loved decorating a new home each time they moved. The family returned to Morgan County in 1974 and moved to Connie’s beloved farmhouse on the hill.  She filled the house with antiques, books and art, making a welcoming space for all who entered. Connie also had a soft spot for animals, welcoming several pets throughout the years.

Connie worked for Morgan Behavioral Health Choices for 20 years, beginning as the Volunteer Coordinator and finishing her career as the program’s clinical coordinator.  She also served on the Mental Health and Recovery Services Board after she retired.  Connie was a member of the Malta Methodist Church for many years and also attended the Malta Bible Church.

Connie was very active in the Tour of Homes, serving as co-director for several years.  She was very involved with the Howard Chandler Christy Art Guild, winning several prestigious awards.  Following her retirement, she had time to return to her love of bridge.  She held bridge lessons in her home for friends and played in several Bridge Clubs.  She and Bob also operated an antique shop at their farm for several years and loved hunting for special items to display.  Connie led a very full life, enjoying her community work but also her time in that farmhouse on the hill.

Connie was preceded in death by her husband Bob, her parents and her siblings Carl Wolfe, Gene Wolfe and Joyce (Wolfe) Swope. She is survived by her children Penny (Tony) King, Dwight R. Graham III (Bobby), and Nancy Graham; as well as three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be 5-7 pm Thursday, April 16, 2026 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home where services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, at Malta  Methodist Church in Malta with Pastor Erik Ostrow officiating. She will be laid to rest in McConnelsville Cemetery beside her husband. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
