Darl Hann Obituary

Darl Edward Hann 71, of Malta passed away August 29, 2025 in Malta. He was born May 24, 1954 in Zanesville the son of the late, John Hann and Audrey Jones Hann. Darl established many businesses in his life time including; Hann Construction, Hann Box Works, Zann’s Family Restaurant, Howard House Restaurant, Hann Manufacturing, Ohio Hardwood & Plywood Distrubution, The Little Dog Deli, and The River Queen Tavern. He enjoyed a wide variety of hobbies which included; Harness Horse Racing, Bee Keeping, Gardening, Woodworking, making maple syrup, and was an avid reader. He was a  dedicated board member of the Citizens National Bank in McConnneslville for 20 years and was a valued member of the community. He is survived by his wife, Holly Triplitt Hann; children, Trisha (Mike Hopkins) Hann Dobransky and Cory (Melissa) Hann; four grandchildren, Brett Dobransky, Brenna Dobransky, Luke Hann, Jack Hann; sisters, Kathy (Zane) Wilson, Janet (Brent) Spring; brothers, John (Rosie Chattos) Hann and Steve (Kim) Hann. Calling hours will be held  Friday, September 5, 2025 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville where funeral services for family and friends will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday,  at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest  in Malta Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Morgan Junior Fair Board.
