David H. Turner 81, of McConnelsville passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 8, 2026 at his home with his wife by his side. He was a truck driver for over 40 years. When he was not working he loved to fish, spend time with family, and watch College football, especially the Oklahoma Sooners. He was an avid reader, and loved to read during his quiet moments. He had a sense of humor and a quick wit and a deep faith for Jesus and Jehovah. He was a father, Pop Pop and a husband to his wife, Carolyn for 38 years. He was loved and admired by his friends and loved ones. He will be missed by all, and those he leaves behind are forever grateful for all the wonderful memories. We love you always. He attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in McConnelsville. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Teller Turner; children, Chris Cardenas, Adelle Nixon, Rene Pennell and Daniel Pennell, grandchildren, Kahlia, Caysen, Michael, and Maria; sister, Carolyn Sue Owen’s. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Turner and Jacqueline Collette; and two brothers, Ronald Turner and Wilson Turner. At his request, a cremation will take place. Miller-Huck Funeral Home is entrusted with his arrangements.
