Deanna “Vonnie” Yvonne (Telfer) Merryman

Deanna Yvonne “Vonnie” Merryman 85, of Malta, passed away at 9:00 a.m. July 9, 2022 at her home. She was born December 10, 1936 in Jewett, Ohio the daughter of the late, Dean Telfer and Madonna Kail Telfer. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in McConnelsville and a dedicated volunteer for Franciscan Meals on Wheels in Morgan County. She is survived by her daughters, Shawn (Don) Eifler, Sherree (Bruce) Webb, Sandra (Lynn Jones) Pauley, Dawna ( J. Lee) Apperson, and Danita (Gene) Newsom; sixteen grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Gene Merryman who died June 7, 2000; a sister, Cheryl Wilson. Friends may call 11 :00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Galen Finley officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in McConnelsville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church in McConnelsville.
