Dolores E. (Rice) Opich

Dolores E. Opich 93, of Zanesville, formerly of McConnelsville passed away March 18, 2025 at Clay Gardens in Zanesville. She was born October 18, 1931 in Edinboro, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late, Victor Rice and Julia Bonchosky Rice. Dolores worked in customer service  at Taylor Woodcraft and was a member of the St. James Catholic Church in McConnelsville. She is survived by her daughter, Michelle (Kenny) Lucas of Corning; four grandchildren, Stephanie (Steve) Wiley, Steve (Leslie) Lucas, Andrea Lucas and Jill (Matthew) Lucas; great grandchildren, Connor Morrison, Drew Morrison and Olivia Lucas. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Steve Opich; and daughters, Debbie Lacey and Pam Smith. At her request,  a cremation will take place with no services at this time. Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville is entrusted  with arrangements.
