Donald G. Garner 88, of Malta, passed away at 7:30 p.m. February 15, 2022 at Highland Oaks Health Center in McConnelsville. He was born January 20, 1934 in Pennsville the son of the late, William Garner and Bernice L. Sheets. He worked at Taylor Woodcraft and was a member of Tabor Ridge Church of Christ, and was an Army and Navy Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Melba A. Ray Garner whom he married March 6, 1957; two grandchildren, Donna C. McDonie and Laura L. (Garrick) Rosario; three great grandchildren, Douglas McDonie, Silence McDonie, Trinity Marie McDonie; son, Michael Palladino; daughter in law, Carol Garner; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sons, Douglas Garner and Kevin Garner; and several sisters and brothers. Friends may call 11:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 19, 2022 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville, where services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Rob Tuttle officiating.
