Edna Joann (Hosom) Raines

Edna Joann Raines 95, of Pennsville passed away at 7:20 a.m.  May 12, 2025 at Marietta Memorial  Hospital. She was born  December 7, 1929 in Morgan County the daughter of the late, Raymond Hosom Sr. And Mary Vorhies Hosom. She was a member of the Pennsville Church of Christ. She is survived by her children, Diana (Fred) Baker  of Malta, Larry (Pam) Raines of Tucson, Arizona, Steve (Marta) Raines of Rushville; seven grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Raney of Philo. In addition to her parents, she was  preceded in death by her husband, Harold C. Raines; one sister, Debra Talboutt; brothers, Raymond Hosom, Carlos Hosom, Roy Hosom, Rex Hosom, Jerry Hosom; and  a grandaughter, Patricia Ashton. Friends may call 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 19, 2025 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville  where services will follow at 1:00 with Daryl Hurst officiating. She will be laid to rest in Pennsville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pennsville Church of Christ.
