Errol Hullet Harris

Errol Hullet Harris 84, of McConnelsville (living with daughter in New Cumberland, PA) passed away May 3, 2024 at his daughter’s home. He was born June 16, 1939 in Carrollton, GA. He was the son of Rual and Ruth Harris and had four siblings, all whom preceded him in death. He served in the Airforce for 4 years before attending Johnson Bible College in Knoxville, TN and later Cincinnati Bible College where he obtained a Master’s of Divinity. He married Barbara Kalb on September 2, 1967 and together they ministered to churches from TN to Alberta, Canada but spent most of their ministry in the area at Taber Church of Christ, Meigs Church of Christ and Chesterhill Church of Christ. He enjoyed preaching, fishing, hunting, gardening, making and selling birdhouses and later in life he loved watching the birds from the window and especially the squirrels that visited. He is survived by his wife of 56 years (Barbara Kalb); son Stephen Errol Harris (wife Jessica Bone) of McConnelsville; daughter Michel Harris of New Cumberland, PA, and granddaughter Kyra Harris of McConnelsville. 
Friends and family may call Friday May 10th from 5-8 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home. A funeral service for all who would like to attend will be May 11th at 11am at Meigs Church of Christ. Errol will be laid to rest in Meigs Cemetery.
