Flossie B. Dailey passed away peacefully at her home on Dec. 29, 2024. She was born on July 15, 1938, to the late Worley B. and Leona May Pettet. She was a Morgan Local Schools Bus Driver for 35 years, a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Flossie was a lifetime member of the Zion Christian Union Church. She is survived by two sisters Judy Bizic of Cadiz and Juanita VanHorn of McConnelsville, 1 son Daniel (Pam) Dailey, 4 daughters Brenda Bates, Donna Anderson and Dawn Lynn (Kent) Coyle all of McConnelsville and Deloris (Keith) Sealock of Zanesville, 4 grandsons Dustin Dailey, Brad (Trish) Bates, Bryan (Morgan) Bates, and Kameron Coyle, 5 granddaughters Katrina (Kyle) Tabor, Sarah (Rob) Jackson, Maggie (Jon) George, Gabrielle (Ben) Strickling, and Maria Coyle. Also surviving are 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Willard "Bill" Dailey of 67 years, 2 brothers Raymond and Rodney Pettet, 2 sisters Ruth Veyon and Marjorie Heine, 2 son-in-laws Otis Bates and Ron Anderson. The family would like to thank Shriver's Hospice, nurse Karey and hospice aide Donna for making it possible for her to be comfortable at home in her last days. Thank you, Christy Mock her personal caregiver , for the last several years for all you have done for our family. Calling hours will be Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 12-2 p.m. at the Zion Christian Union Church in Portersville. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. with Pastor Mike Wells officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Zion Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Zion Christian Union Church. Miller-Huck Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
