On Tuesday, May 4, 2021, Fred A. Davis, brother, uncle and friend passed away at the age 62.
Fred was born February 17, 1959 in Zanesville, Ohio to Robert and Lorene Davis. He grew up on the family farm outside of Malta. He graduated from Morgan High School. He recieved his BSBA from Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio. He went on to recieve both his MA in International Relations and MBA from University of Denver in Colorado.
Fred had many passions. He loved to travel to Europe and went on many trips. He loved to garden and shared his talents with many others. He loved to bake, including gingerbread men at Christmas and cheesecake. He spent much of his time searching for antiques, especially dishes. He also loved to trade with his friend Galen.
Fred was preceeded in death by both of his parents. He is survived by his sister, Terri Long and husband Jim Long. He has six nieces and nephews. Jacqui Pazaropolous (George), Katy Bower (Dan), Jenni Long (Julien), Tony Cornell (Rachel), Jessica Long and Lydia Cornell. He had eight great nieces and nephews, many cousins and most of all a large family of friends.
A memorial service will be held on May 15, 2021 at 2 pm at The Church of the Gospel Ministry, located at 210 N. Kennebec Ave, McConnelsville, Ohio. Donations can be made to the Kate Love Simpson Library where he spent many hours.
