Goldie L. Ross

Goldie L. Ross, 92, of Columbus passed away in Columbus on September 18, 2020. She was born in Malta, Ohio on September 7, 1928 the daughter of the late Addison McKibben and Alma Fitch McKibben. After graduation from M&M High School she worked at a law office in McConnelsville. On December 26th, 1948 she married David Ross. While he completed his Mechanical Engineering degree at Ohio State University she worked at Chemical Abstracts, which was then a part of OSU. She was a stay at home mom for the rest of her life taking care of her family, making sure they had everything they needed to pursue their dreams and careers. Goldie is survived by her husband of 72 years, David; sons, John (Deborah) and Daniel; grandchildren, Jane Ross and David Ross. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death a brother, Ralph McKibben; sister-in-law, Bonnie McKibben; and daughter-in-law, Tina Ross. A private graveside service will be held at McConnelsville Cemetery with Pastor Galen Finley officiating. Arrangements by Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville, Ohio.
