Helen Irene (Ellison) Haines

Helen Irene Ellison Haines, 89, of McConnelsville passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2025. She was born July 16, 1935 in Noble County near Reinersville, to the late Ray and Bernice Rowland Ellison. She graduated from Manchester Reinersvillle High School in 1953 and was married to Ernest (Bud) Haines on October 14, 1953 until his passing in May of 2020. She is survived by two sons, Randall Haines and Ronnie Haines both of Reinersville; seven grandchildren, Melissa, Hiram, Audra, Adam, Randy, Hillary, and Holly; eleven great-grandchildren; and several cousins. In addition to her parents,  Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Bud; a son, Richard (Dick) Haines; a daughter, Debbie Haines; sister-in-laws, Mary Lou Haines and Nancy Strode. Friends and family may call Monday, February 3, 2025 from 12-1 p.m. at Miller-Huck Funeral Home. A funeral service will be at 1 p.m.  and Helen will be laid to rest beside her husband in Sharon Cemetery near Caldwell. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the M. & M.
