Ina Belle Barnes, 89, of McConnelsville passed away Friday, June 6, 2025 at the Riverside Landing Nursing & Rehab Center. She was born April 27, 1936 in Center Township, Morgan County a daughter of the late, Albert and Belva Boney Marshall. She graduated from Manchester High School in Reinersville, Ohio with the class of 1954. Ina was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in McConnelsville where she was an ordained Elder and Deacon, charter member of Neely OCCL club and a member of the Bristol Missionary Society. She also served as a Cub Scout Den Mother for several years. She was married for 54 years to William Jay Barnes who passed away October 6, 2008. Ina is survived by two sons, Terry (Lynetta) Barnes of Painesville, Ohio and William (Peggy) Barnes of McConnelsville. She was grandma "B" to 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; a sister, Allene Barnes of Zanesville; and a brother, John (Sherry) Marshall of McConnelsville. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews who were very special to her. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by twin granddaughters, Corrie and Casey Barnes; and a great granddaughter, Madison Ciprio; and a sister, Mavis Manning. Calling hours will be Tuesday, June 10, 2025 from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Ina will be laid to rest beside her husband at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church in McConnelsville.
