Iva Lou (Mobberly) Renshaw

Iva Lou Renshaw,(Mobberly), 92, formerly of North Canton, Ohio, passed away peacefully June 24, 2021, at Highland Oaks Health Center in McConnelsville, Ohio. She was born July 21,1928 in Sardis, Ohio to the late Leonard and Edna Mobberty. Iva Lou worked for the Hoover Company in her younger days, but thrived at being a homemaker and taking care of her family. She was also a dedicated member of North Canton Church of Christ where she was a member of Needles and Knots making lap blankets for local nursing homes and hospitals.
Iva Lou was a 3 time cancer survivor and never let anything get her down. She always stayed feisty and let no obstacles get in her way. Iva Lou enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends but her biggest joy was her family. She loved her great grandchildren and spent as much time as possible with them.
In addition to her parents, Iva Lou was preceded in death by the love of her life Jim, her only child Jim Renshaw, Jr.; sister, Ruth Ellen Young; and brother, Jack Mobberly.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Mary Beth;  great grandchildren, Taylor(Malik), Austin, and Jamie; great-great grandchildren, Nasir and Alijah; daughter in law, Gloria Renshaw; nephew, Terry(Carol) Young and family;  niece, Gloria(Jim) Trefney and family and a host of friends and family.
We will miss our Granny so much and always remember how much she loved and sacrificed for us. There will never be anyone in in our lives like her. Special thank you to Highland Oaks Health Center and Hospice for her excellent care in her last days and also Terry and Carol Young who spent time with her and made sure she was not alone as she peacefully transitioned. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in July at North Canton Church of Christ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to honor her to Susan G. Komen for the Cure or the ASPCA.
