Jean Lois (Raney) Little

Jean Lois (Raney) Little, 98, of McConnelsville passed away Monday, October 28, 2024. She was born December 13, 1925 in Malta to Ed and Marie Raney. She was a graduate of Pennsville High School. Jean  was a lifelong member of Ohio Grange  and belonged to several other clubs including  the Bristol Ladies' Missionaries and the Never Silent Club. She loved animals and reading. She was an avid Cleveland Indians and Ohio State basketball fan. She enjoyed history and genealogy. Jean always kept in touch with family and friends with cards and letters especially her long-time pen pal Dot in Illinois. She married Edgar Little February 14, 1946. Together they had three sons;  Alan, Lary, and Keith. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband;  brother, Ralph Raney; and three grandchildren. She is survived by her three sons, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a great great granddaughter. Calling hours will be Friday, November 1, 2024 from 6-8 p.m.  at  Miller-Huck Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 1p.m.  at the funeral home with Pastor  Galen Finley officiating. Jean will be laid to rest beside her husband in Bristol Cemetery.
