Jean E. (Funk) Nicola

Jean E. Nicola, 71, of McConnelsville passed away Thursday, March 19, 2020 at the Genesis Hospice Morrison House in Zanesville. She was born September 9, 1948 in New Lexington. Jean was a graduate of the Ohio State University  and retired from Ohio State University where she worked in the payroll department for 34 years.  She is survived by her fiancé', John R. Christy of McConnelsville; and a brother, Don Funk Jr. of Columbus. Jean was preceded in death by her father,  Don Funk Sr. and mother, Jessie Sharp Funk. At her request, a caring cremation will take place. Miller-Huck Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
