Jimmy Todd Sidwell

Jimmy Todd Sidwell 83, of Malta, passed away at 7:12 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2025 at his home. He was born  May 18, 1941 in Perry County the son of the late James R. Sidwell and Mary Thelma Hamilton Sidwell. Todd was a Real Estate Broker and attended the Malta Methodist Church in Malta, member of Valley Lodge F&AM in Malta, he served in the Army National Guard from 1957 to 1963. He loved to watch basketball and watching his family play sports. He was a Cleveland Browns fan and an Ohio State Buckeye fan. He loved to tell a good joke and to make people laugh. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Newsom Sidwell; children, Angie Penrod of Malta and Mike Sidwell of Canal Winchester; six grandchildren; and one great grandchild. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jamie Sidwell; one sister, Helen Jean Reed;  two brothers, John Lincoln Sidwell and Kenneth Paul Sidwell. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. He will be laid to rest in Zion Cemetery in Portersville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Malta Methodist Church.
