Joan L. (Cornwell) Sobers

Joan L. Sobers 65, of McConnelsville passed away at 9:06 p.m. February 9, 2025 at the Morrison House in Zanesville. She was born September 12, 1959 in Licking County the daughter of the late, John Cornwell and Annette Shirley Cornwell. She was a cook at Highland Oaks in McConnelsville. Surviving are her children, Tania Sobers of Springfield, Angie Sobers of Zanesville, Eric Sobers, Andrew Sobers, Leslie Sobers of Raleigh, North Carolina, Clayton Sobers of Marietta, and Shayla Sheitler of Columbus; several grandchildren; and one great grandchild; close friend, Leonard Hicks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, David Sobers. Private family services will be held by the family at a later date.
