John Schlotzhauer, 72, of Stockport passed away Friday, January 5, 2024 at his home. He was born July 2, 1951 in Zanesville a son of the late, George Schlotzhauer and Helen Barrett Schlotzhauer. John worked at Burr Oak Lodge for many years and retired in 2000. He was a veteran and served in the U. S. Army. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Judy Allen Schlotzhauer; and a sister, Betty (Frank) Harman of McConnelsville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Smith and Mary Janes; three brothers, Richard, Roy, and Chester Schlotzhauer. Calling hours will be Tuesday, January 9, 2024 from 1-2 p.m.at Miller-Huck Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. with Pastor Steve Bondurant officiating and John will be laid to rest in Pennsville Cemetery.
