Joseph James Carpenter

Joseph James Carpenter 62, of Malta, passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021 in Pineville , North Carolina. He was born February 13, 1959 in Sutton, West Virginia the son of Joseph Carpenter and Edna Carpenter. He was a truck driver. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Burgett Carpenter; children, Ronald Carpenter, Frannie Carpenter, Joseph Carpenter, John Carpenter and Alice Lowery; seventeen grandchildren; and six great grandchildren; sister, Goldie Tomlinson; brother, Jack Carpenter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Carpenter; and a brother, Charles Carpenter. Friends may call 10:00 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2021 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville where services will be held at 12 p.m. with Evangelist Vernon Eldridge officiating. He will be laid to rest in Pennsville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
