Junita R. Garrett, 87, of McConnelsville passed away Friday, October 15, 2021 at The Oaks At Northpointe in Zanesville. She was born December 19, 1933 in Valier, IL. to the late Albert Burtnett and Mattie Jones Burtnett. Junita retired from the former Malta Manufacturing and attended the Main Street Church Of Christ in McConnelsville. She is survived by two daughters, Diane L. Ridenour of McConnelsville and Debra K. Boghossian of London, OH; four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Garrett; a half brother, Paul Harwood; and three half sisters, Eleanor Burtnett, Edith and Fern Harwood. Calling hours will be Tuesday, October 19, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 1 p.m. at the Dutch Hill Cemetery with Pastor Rick Snyder officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
