Kent J. Earich

Kent J. Earich  85, of Malta, passed away September 22, 2025 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville. He was born February 16, 1940 in Morgan County  the son of the late, Delmer Earich and Donna Price Earich. He was the  co owner of Earich Lumber Company which was founded in 1947, put in a sawmill in 1956 and continued to operate it for over 50 years. He was a member of the Triadelphia Church of Christ and attended the Seventh Street Church of Christ in McConnelsville. He was a member of the Morgan 4H Committee for 18 years and was a Senior Fair Board member for 12 years. He is survived by his significant other, Sharon Stewart; and her family, Anna Marie Devoll, Judy (Dennis) Ruff, Carrie (Steve) Hinkle, and Jamie (Stacey) Stewart; eight grandchildren; and one great grandchild, Blaine Ruff; brother, Grant Earich; and a sister, Elaine Finley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Diane McKibben. Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 25, 2025 at the Seventh Street Church of Christ in McConnelsville where services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday with Evangelist Randy Baker officiating. He will be laid to rest in Deerfield Cemetery. Miller-Huck Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
