Linda Lou (Douthit) Bebout

Linda Lou Bebout, 66, of Ashland, OH, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, March 11, 2023.
Linda was born on June 20, 1956, in Marietta, OH to the late Charles Howard Douthit and Mary Lee (Drake) Short. She graduated from Morgan High School in 1974 and worked a variety of jobs at Malta Manufacturing, Longaberger Baskets, and Mahle Engine Components before retiring. Linda loved music, was a free spirit, and a true friend to many.  Her life radiated the light and goodness of Jesus, who she trusted and adored. She will be remembered for her great love of her family and friends, for her kindness towards everyone, and for her infectious joy and peace.
Linda is survived by her sons, Nate (Leah) Bebout of Ashland, and Levi Bebout of Columbus, in addition to her four grandchildren, Rosalie, Whitaker, Montgomery, and Forrester, who she loved with her whole heart. She is also survived by her stepmother, Shirley Douthit; siblings, Judy Soukup, Peggy (Larry) Keefer, June (Steve) Moore, and Douglas (Carolyn) Douthit; lifelong friends Mary Ann (John) Curtis; and many cherished nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roger Bebout and her sister, Patricia Massey.
Calling Hours will be held Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 1:00-3:00pm at the Core Building, located behind the Stockport United Methodist Church. The funeral will be held at the same location at 3:00pm with Rev. Nate Bebout officiating. Internment will follow at Stockport Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the James Cancer Treatment and Research Center at The Ohio State University.
