Margaret Jane (Roberts) Earich

Margaret Jane Earich, 82, of Malta passed away Monday, August 29, 2022 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus. She was born June 9, 1940 in Morgan County to the late T. Dale Roberts and Virginia Haines Roberts. Margaret attended the Cornerstone South Family Life Church in McConnelsville. She was a farm wife and enjoyed working around the farm for many years. She liked gardening, growing flowers, playing string instruments as well as the organ and piano. Margaret was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and her greatest joy was attending her grandchildren's sporting events and spending time with her family. She was also a loving caregiver for her late husband, Francis during his illness. She is survived by two daughters, Candi (Damon) Drake of  Stockport, Peggy (Bernie) Anderson of McConnelsville; a son, Mel (Kristen) Earich of Williamsport;  five grandchildren, Maddi (Alan) Searl, Louden (Brittany) Drake, Mallory Jane Spengler, Evan Francis (Hanna) Earich, Grant Eli Earich; and seven great grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother, Gary (Judy) Roberts of McConnelsville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis E. Earich;  a sister, Virginia Roberts; and a brother, Darl Roberts. Calling hours will be Saturday, September 3, 2022 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville. A funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Smith officiating. Margaret will be laid to rest beside her husband Francis at Malta Cemetery.
