Mary Kathryn Pauley

Mary Kathryn Pauley, 87, of McConnelsville, formerly of Marietta has made her final journey to be with our Lord on Saturday, July 24, 2021 surrounded by many of her loved ones at her home. She was born January 3, 1934 in Shamrock, Texas a daughter of the late Louise Davis and A. Lester Jones. Mary and her late husband Robert AKA Bob enjoyed traveling all over to watch live bluegrass music festivals. She enjoyed gardening and growing flowers of all kinds. Mary was a member of the Mt. Olivet Church.  She was a devoted, loving and caring wife, mother, grandma and great grandma. She had so much love and pride for her family, they were her everything. Mary will be greatly missed by ALL. She is survived by 4 of her 6 children, daughter,  Irene K. Davis and late husband Jim of Blue Rock, Oh; son, Larry H. and Carol Pauley of Jay, Maine; daughter, Debra W. Lilly and late husband Rodney of Waterford, Oh; daughter, Teresa L. and John Matheney of  McConnelsville; 19 grandchildren; and too many to count as she would say great grandchildren whom she loved and enjoyed seeing and watch grow with all her heart. Also surviving is a sister, Anna June Edwards of Oklahoma; 2 special cousins, Ray Admore and Kay Atkins; her in-laws, Harry & Helen Martin, Harlen & Gloria Pauley, Janice Patterson; and someone special, Tammy Ray. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert A. Pauley whom she married May 3, 1953 in Lubbock, Tx; 2 sons, James R. Pauley and Johnny L. Pauley; a grandson, Jeremiah L. Pauley. Her family  would like to thank Shrivers Hospice for all their compassion and excellent care of their loved one. Calling hours will be Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with her nephew Kerry Pauley officiating. Mary will be laid to rest beside her husband of almost 56 years, Robert in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Shrivers Hospice.
