Melinda Susann (Loar) Crews

Melinda Susann (Loar) Crews, 72, passed away December 5, 2022 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville, Ohio.

Born July 24,1950 to Betty Aber Loar and Jim Loar in Zanesville, Ohio. She was a 1968 graduate of Morgan High School and a 52 year employee of Masterson Insurance. 

She had a true passion and love for all animals and worked with the Morgan County Humane Society to rescue and find homes for abandoned animals.

She is survived by two aunts, Jennifer Lewis of Zanesville and Janet Wheeler of  Alabama; many cousins; special friend, David Crews of Zanesville; a niece, Krissy (Tony) Machamer of Canal Winchester; and daughters, Madelyn and Anna; a nephew, Jason (Summer) Kaster of Zanesville; and children, Karter and Alivia.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents, Joseph G. Aber Sr. and Zeolia Gessel Aber; aunts, Patsy Smith, Mary Bellville; uncles Donald Aber, Dan Aber, Joseph G. Aber Jr.  A caring cremation is taking place at her request with no service or calling hours. Miller-Huck Funeral Home, in McConnelsville, Ohio is handling the arrangements.
