Michael L. Gingerich 71, of McConnelsville, passed away suddenly Dec. 26, 2021 at 3:25 p.m. at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville. He was born Jan. 5, 1950 in Washington, Ind. the son of the late, George Gingerich and Margaret Houston Gingerich. He worked in the oil field his entire life, working for L&M Oil Company and a few side jobs. He loved being outdoors, camping, hunting and fishing. He participated in numerous fishing tournaments with his brother Don all across Ohio. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Lovsey Gingerich; sons, Michael Troy (Robin) Gingerich and Tony (Allen Nue) Gingerich; step daughter, Jennifer (Chuck) Sullivan; grandchildren, KaityLynn, Sheridan, Madelynn, Peyton, Riley Nichole, Chesney, Kiernan, Tatum, Chase Michael, Kingsley and Zachary; brothers, Dave (Sue) Gingerich and Don (Rita) Gingerich; cousin, Dean Gingerich; uncle, Bill (Jean) Gingerich; and many special friends, Tommy Heavener, Eric Greiner, Mike Montgomery, Mike and Carolyn Pierce, Pastor Walt Jones, Denny (deceased) and Barbara Ash and Junior Strode. Calling hours will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, Dec 31, 2021 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville where services will be held at 3:30 p.m. with Pastor Walt Jones officiating.
